We are stewards of this land

Bees and Honey.
I started my first hive in the fall of 2020, and have had a love for beekeeping ever since. Sometimes I just stand at the hive and watch their movements, this is grounding for me, if the bees are happy, I know everything is ok.

Chickens.
We started out with six and now we have ten. This is called chicken math.

gardens.

foraging for natural dyes
for pollinators

fruits and vegetables
and bumper crops!

It’s always a work in progress.
We started our garden in 2020 using no-till practices with the intention of regenerating the soil with our crops, tending to the land and helping us see our place in the web of nature.
